AND WE'RE OFF...

gonna be seein' a lot of this in the next few days...

While we were visiting my Grandma in Teton, Idaho on Saturday my Aunt Ranae and Uncle Ryan stopped in to tell Grandma hi. They are the coolest, happiest people. Seriously, they've raised like the best, most well adjusted, smart, kind, funny 9 (NINE!) kids. They are always smiling. I want to be like Ranae and Ryan when I grow up. (Some of their kids blog, you can find them under the family links - there's Doug, Megan, Angelica, and Melissa.)

So, anyway, as they were leaving, Ryan said to Ranae, "Remember taking road trips with all the kids in the Suburban?" And Ranae said, "Yes, I sure do. It is sure is fun ... not to do that anymore."

I am still laughing about it!

O that is soooo funny! I am laughing about it too:)
Maybe the car seat laws in Louisiana will be different.... I think here they can move to a booster seat when they are 4, rather than a 5- point. That would free up a little space.

Holy cow Tif! How did you manage all that blogging amidst your moving??!! I thought I'd missed a post or two - your really put me to shame :)
It is wonderful for you to share all the love you have shared and been returned. I know someone has prayed to to LA... too bad I didn't pray you to MO enough :).
Happy travels.
Love,
Elizabeth

Happy trails to you:) We haven't been on a road trip with the whole family for a couple of summers, and I have to say, it's been fun not to do it anymore, too:) It's bad enough going to the beach with everyone- "Are we there yet?" "He's touching me!" "I need to barf!" Yikes.
